Thank you for choosing to buy one of our Jute items! It is a truly green and sustainable product.
Naturally cropping three times a year, jute requires no fertilisers, so is totally organic. It is
the softest, yet hardest wearing natural fibre, and when you are finished with it, it is
biodegradable. It is also a naturally fire retardant.
If it arrives creased – don’t worry, these be back to normal in a few days.
Check our tips to give a good life to your jute item:

You can spot clean with soap and water.
If any ‘sprouts’ of yarn appear, simply cut them off. Don’t try and pull them out.
Please treat your jute item as you would any other. You can vacuum it, and surface clean with
gentle soap and water.
As a natural fibre, there will be imperfections occasionally, but we think they just add to
the charm of the product. Jute will always try to revert to its’ natural state, so it is
advisable to keep it out of direct sunlight as this can sometimes cause some fading.
